Projects

Vermilion Oil & Gas Australia (VOGA) engaged Oceanic Offshore Pty Ltd in 2021 to undertake emergency Air Diving repair operations on the Wandoo CALM Buoy to replace the damaged floating hose assembly. The Wandoo field is located within Permit WA-14-L, located within the Commonwealth waters, which is approximately 75km North West offshore from Dampier Port, Western Australia.Oceanic Offshore provided a suitable vessel and air diving services to assist VOGA with the removal of the damaged export Floating Hose Assembly (FHA) from the underside connection flange/spool piece located on the Wandoo field CALM Buoy. Once the old FHA was removed, the re-instatement of a new FHA to the CALM Buoy connection flange/spool piece was completed to allow the Field Service Vessel (FSV) to complete the construction of the flowline.

Oceanic Offshore were contracted by Toll Energy to assist with the Wreck Recovery of the ‘Toll Osborne’ in 2020 after it was washed up onto the rocks post TC Damien on Conzinc Island off the coast of Dampier.  This included several scopes of work including the following:

  • Fuel and ballast transfer
  • Depollution of items containing hazardous substances incl batteries
  • Security checks to establish vessels continuing condition
  • Beach Cleanup of Conzinc Island
  • Preparation of the vessel for refloat
  • Facilitate the refloat of the vessel
  • Tow the vessel to the designated mooring
  • Inspect and report on the vessels condition
  • Facilitate the docking of the vessel at TDSB Slipway for decommissioning

Oceanic Offshore has been contracted by Bam-Clough Joint Venture to conduct diving works for the KLE Marine Lift Campaign commencing in April 2016. This project has come about after the successful completion of another project with Bam-Clough JV finishing up earlier this year. This project involved two separate campaigns providing dive support activities associated with the product loading facility and tug berths in the Wheatstone Project Area commencing in June 2014 and finishing in January 2016.

Oceanic Offshore Pty Ltd were contracted to complete the necessary repairs to No. 5 East Pile, No. 3 West Pile and No. 9 West Pile (AtoN) located in Dampier Port by Rio Tinto. Oceanic Offshore provided all the necessary project management, site supervision, diving personnel, equipment and subcontractors (& subcontractor’s equipment) necessary to facilitate the project. The project commenced on the 9th of November 2015 and was successfully executed by 13th December 2015.

The Allseas Gorgon Pipelines Project was completed in 2011. The scope of work for the Shallow Water Diving Services was to support Allseas with the Gorgon and Jansz pipeline installation activities on the West side of Barrow Island. In 2013 Oceanic Offshore was awarded the contract with Allseas for the dive support activities associated with the Wheatstone Trunkline Installation Project which commenced in May 2014 with the mobilisation of two Offshore Dive Teams (24 hour operations), an Offshore Dive Spread and a Support Vessel – the Mary V. The project was successfully completed in September 2014 completing in excess of 19,000 operational hours.
